Welcome to my daylily sale site. Spring of2009 was spent rejuvenating all of the daylily beds. This was a huge task that required removing and separating all my stock, potting it up and moving all of the plants to the driveway until their new beds were tilled and amended. There were some exciting new blooms to see and the plants were busy putting their roots into all that fresh new soil. I had sold a lot of plants last spring to make room for dividing the plants, and they barely all fit. I can now count them and have found that I still have close to 700 different daylilies left. As 2009 was a transplanting year, I have a bit fewer for sale this spring. My goal is to get down to about 50 or so of my favorites.
Many already know me, but for new visitors, my husband Jack and I (Sherry) live in south western Alberta, in zone 3b. We have repeated freeze thaw cycles here and a lot of wind which pretty much takes most of our snow away. I do not mulch but I do leave the foliage on for the winter. These are VERY hardy plants We have a lot of deer and they eat all around my daylilies but leave them alone. This year in Dec. we had -32 one week and +6 the next !!
I do prefer email but if you have trouble getting thru, do not hesitate to phone me. All contact info is on the SHIPPING AND HANDLING page. To navigate use the 3 pages in the black header above the red title word DAYLILIES.
