I am still struggling with the whole postage thing. I tried to be too exact last year and ended up losing money on it myself which isn't fair either. So this year I am increasing it a bit so that my gas, time and materials are covered. I also need to cover pay pal charges. I ship Expediated Parcel with insurance. Canada Post has increased once again so this is what the new rates will be:

B.C and Ab......................$14 for up to 3 plants (6 fans) After that add $1 per plant

Sk. and Mb.....................$16   "    "  "  "     "          "         "        "     "    "   "     "

Ont and East..................$20   "    "   "  "    "          "         "        "     "    "   "     "

Grab bag sale.................$Base shipping as above plus $2......Additional bags add  $5

As I did last year, all orders over $20 (before postage) will recieve bonus daylilies of my choice. There are no bonus plants on sale items. I will Not hold daylilies for anyone without payment. Payment can be by Pay Pal, or pay by visa etc with the Pay Pal button.  Do not send payment until I have confirmed availability of all plants as more than one person may want the same one. Payment is due as soon as I have confirmed availability. I will hold for 24 hrs after which time you need to reconfirm availability. This is because so many are the only one of its kind for sale as they are hybrids I have grown. Please remember to send me your full address and phone #.  I will send you an email or call to let you know when I will be sending your order out. Please reply to it as I don't want to send an order if you are on vacation, etc. I will ship in early June depending on the weather. The plants need to recover from winter first.  All named daylilies are shipped double fans or more unless I have specified differently by the letters SF (single fan). If it is a numbered daylily (eg. 0581-2), it is one that is not registered and is usually sold as "all fans" This means you are buying all of that plant whether it is 1 fan or 5 fans. The plants are dug and washed with the tops and roots trimmed. They are allowed to dry off and then wrapped in paper and tagged, boxed and shipped. If something you like is marked as sold you can ask about it anyways as I may have a similar one that is not on the site or I may have more divisions than are shown for sale.

When you receive them, soak the roots for a few hours to rehydrate and then plant. Do not worry if the leaves are yellow as they will soon send up nice fresh ones. Daylilies develope HUGE root systems so please don't stick them in a tiny hard packed hole....you really do reap what you sow in this case, so dig a good size hole and amend it with peat moss and compost and I like to throw in a handfull  or two of bone meal while I'm at it. Cover the roots ONLY up to the base of the leaves only so as not to encourage crown rot. Please understand that we are dealing with live plants that were assessed last fall 2008, so if something suffers die back this spring,I will offer you a choice of a substitute or refund. I have lost very few plants tho since I moved here 6 years ago.
